Feedback request for Draft:Richard Blankenbecler

[edit]

Hi Jimfbleak,

Thank you for your previous suggestions. Taking those into account, I have completely rewritten the biography of a living American physicist where I've included in-line verifiable sources and also added many wiki links. When you have some time I would appreciate any critical comments to improve the current page.

Correct course of action?

[edit]

Hi Jim. I saw that the account IWELL US posted an unblock request on their talk page. However, their account is blocked at Wikidata, not here. I informed them of this, but also that they've now exposed themselves to a potential block here due to WP:CORPNAME. Should I wait a bit for them to submit a username change, or should I report it straight away to WP:UAA? --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 16:34, 25 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The simplest solution might be a soft block here, since they haven't spammed on en-wiki. Would that do? Jimfbleak - talk to me? 18:31, 25 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds sensible to me. Of course I'm not an admin, so you can do the honours. :-) --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 20:18, 25 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Restoration of recently deleted article

[edit]

Hey again! I PRODed this — Representative Figures and Schools of Idealism – but it might be best to send it back to their draftspace again. Someone has pinged the instructor, and I've advised the editor to make use of the Article Wizard. The topic is covered by other articles, and they don't have the experience to be posting directly to the mainspace. Thanks! Patrick 🐈‍⬛ (talk) 14:33, 27 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Patrick 🐈‍⬛ thanks, moved to draft and fixed the title again, please check and see if there is anything you want to add Jimfbleak - talk to me? 15:50, 27 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I'll leave another note offering support if they want to edit existing articles like German idealism. They are citing high-quality sources. Cheers, Patrick 🐈‍⬛ (talk) 16:04, 27 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Jake Seliger

[edit]

I am inquiring about the deletion of Jake Seliger's Wikipedia page. Jake Seliger is considered notable for Wikipedia because he did several things that gained him recognition in different areas:

He was a writer with published books: He wrote and published two novels, which means his work was considered worthy of being shared with a wider audience by publishers. He was a significant contributor to a popular website: He wrote often for Daily Stoic, a well-known online platform about Stoic philosophy. This gave him a large readership and established him as someone with insightful things to say. He was even interviewed on their podcast.   He was recognized by other online communities: He was featured prominently on Hacker News, a site for technology and startup enthusiasts, and Marginal Revolution, an economics blog. This shows he was part of important online discussions and his opinions were noted. His life and passing were noted by reputable sources: When he passed away, both Daily Stoic and Marginal Revolution published articles about him, highlighting his impact and the loss felt by their communities.   An initiative was created in his honor: His friend created a writing fund at their shared university to support emerging writers, showing that he had a lasting impact on people in his life and field.   Essentially, Jake Seliger had a significant presence in multiple online communities, authored published works, and his life and passing were recognized by notable platforms, all of which contribute to him being considered a notable individual according to Wikipedia's guidelines. Deletion of Draft:CONCORDIA Social Projects

[edit]

Hi,

i am employee of Concordia Social Projects, working in the head office in vienna for the organization. I have already successfully published the page on the german version of wikipedia. The draft Draft:CONCORDIA Social Projects is a translation of the german version. Since we have a lot of beneficiaries, project partners, employees, donors and interested donors, that do not speak german, we want to publish the page in english to inform about our organization and activities.

So in short: I ask you to withdraw the deletion so that we can publish the page.
